On October 8, the inaugural debut of the Wide-Format Summit Series took place, with six speakers touching on a wide range of topics relevant to the industry and the environment print service providers (PSPs) face today.

Results from the IDC Worldwide Quarterly Large Format Printer Tracker show that wide-format printer shipments grew on a worldwide basis in Q4 2019. However, for the full year, shipments declined by almost 3.5%; growth in UV and dye-sub were not enough to offset declining shipments of solvent and toner-based printers.

SGIA and NAPCO Media announced the Wide-format Summit, a hosted, invitation-only conference to be held April 20-22, 2020, at the Hyatt Lost Pines in Austin, TX. The new event will be co-located with the 8th annual Inkjet Summit, and will have its own content track.
