WFI: What's motivating you to attend this year's expo?
Starla Miller: Just to see if there's anything new and what people are talking about in our industry and how it's changing.
Jim Miller: For me, it's making connections in our network.
WFI: And what brings you back to that event year over year?
SM: Just the industry. We love what we do, and we love meeting new people and seeing old faces of people that we've known for years and years and, connecting, staying on top of the products, staying relevant, meeting the new people and seeing our old friends.
WFI: What products, brands, or services are you most looking forward to seeing at this year's Expo?
JM: Laminators!
SM: I'm with him on that. We need a laminator, alright.
WFI: How do you plan to maximize your time at the expo?
SM: I don't know. That's hard because we get pulled in different directions all the time.
JM: Yeah. We want to try to promote our training facility, and we try to have meetings with people. So, I guess we're going to maximize by trying to meet with all the manufacturers and distributors as much as we can.
WFI: How do you think attending the expo impacts your business?
SM: Exposure is very important just to, like we said, meet new people and have that exposure. To have the opportunity to possibly do business with them.
JM: You don't get to see the head people of graphics manufacturers or distributors every day. So, it's nice to be able to go see them all in one spot. You can see all these people and talk to the decision makers and make things happen that you can't really do on that big of a scale in any other place.
