OnPrintShop Helps PSPs Reduce Costs, Shorten Turnaround Times
For one U.S.-based company with more than 20 years of experience providing services in large-format from banners & event signage to packaging and POP displays, building an online store they could trust was a pain point.
Due to manual and disintegrated order processing along with custom size requests, quick order turnaround was a challenge. Once logged into the system, customers have the option to select custom sizes, custom designs and receive job estimations along with and ordering information. Additionally, they set up specifications for freight shipping, package dimensions and max weight per package for every wide-format product so shipping calculations could be automated. With Dropbox integrated directly to the site, even large files could easily be transferred.
Wide-format buyers were now able to get instant estimates for custom and pre-defined sizes. And with the wide-format module, the company is able to execute short-run orders effectively because each order comes with all the details, including an auto-job ticket, auto-invoice and auto-shipping label.
Ever since they were able to roll out this new web-to-print system, business has increased. With the auto-generated invoice and job ticketing, new orders were automatically transferred to production, which had a major impact on turnaround time. Auto-status updates also helped reduce client anxiety.
Additionally, because the company was able to offer competitive pricing and an easy ordering process, they were able to bring on a number of new resellers.
