INSTA Wins Two Product of the Year Awards
Insta Graphic Systems is the proud recipient of two 2019 Specialty Graphic Imaging Association (SGIA) Product of the Year awards. More than 200 entries were reviewed by a highly qualified panel of judges from across the printing industry. The two awards were presented to Insta at the PRINTING United trade show in Dallas on October 22, 2019, for the following products and categories:
The Insta 288 heat press was selected as Product of the Year in the Heat Press (Table Top) category. The Insta 288 is a manual swing-away heat press with 20”x 25” platens. It can be used in the sublimation market because of the over-sized platen and its ability to generate even temperature and pressure across the entire platen, which is essential in the application of sublimation transfers.
Insta’s SiliconeX Custom Heat Transfer was selected as Product of the Year in the Media-Heat Transfer Printable category. SiliconeX is the ideal transfer for performance wear, industrial work wear and leisure wear apparel. It offers superior stretch, excellent durability and abrasion resistance, and is RSL and Lab Wash tested. Also, SiliconeX can be applied at a temperature setting as low as 285F, which works extremely well with heat-sensitive, stretchable synthetic fabrics.
