Jason Ahart
Jason Ahart, vice president, production operations at Moss Inc. (Franklin Park, Illinois), shares why he’s attending the 2025 PRINTING United Expo in Orlando (October 22-24).
Wide-format Impressions: Pretend this is an elevator pitch: Tell me a little bit about your company.
Jason Ahart: Moss is all about creating branded environments and providing solutions that stand out—whether it’s events, exhibits, or retail spaces. We do everything from tension fabric structures and huge graphics to the small custom display. We do this all with an eye towards sustainability and work towards being net zero. So basically, we help brands bring big ideas to life, start to finish, all around the world.
WFI: What motivated you to attend the Expo this year?
JA: For me, the Expo is all about reconnecting with people—colleagues, clients, and partners—while checking out the latest print and fabrication tech. It’s also a chance to show how Moss is pushing forward with quality, innovation, and sustainability. I see the Expo as a place to get inspired and find new ideas we can bring back to every project.
WFI: If you’re a first-time attendee, what are you hoping to learn? If you're returning, what brings you back?
JA: I’m a returning attendee, and, honestly, that’s because every year has something new I learn about or see. There’s always new tech, new trends, and tons of opportunities to learn from people in the industry. I always leave the show with ideas and insights that help me and the Moss team keep raising the bar.
WFI: Which products, brands, or services are you most looking forward to seeing at the Expo?
JA: I’m watching out for new print technologies, sustainable materials, and fabrication solutions that make things faster, cleaner, and more creative. It’s always exciting to see what equipment makers, graphic providers, and material suppliers are bringing to the table.
WFI: How do you plan to maximize your time at the Expo?
JA: Sit in on sessions and demos about fabrication and sustainability. Meet with vendors and potential new partners. Look for products and tools that make production smoother and greener. Swap ideas with other folks in the industry who are tackling similar challenges.
WFI: How do you think attending the Expo will impact your business or career?
JA: The Expo helps Moss stay ahead of the curve so we can deliver even better solutions for our clients. For me personally, it’s a chance to fuel my passion for print and fabrication, bring back fresh ideas, and sharpen how we work as a team. It’s where innovation and real results connect and that’s what keeps me coming back.
