Expo 411: Embracing Innovation and Industry Connections
The PRINTING United Expo — October 18-20 in Atlanta — is quickly approaching, and attendees are gearing up for a week of learning, networking, and inspiration. As a lead-up to the Expo, we are sharing a series of Q&A interviews featuring attendees from a variety of backgrounds sharing why they are attending the PRINTING United Expo, what they hope to learn, and what excites them about the upcoming event.
Brian Adam, President
Olympus Group is a 130-year old large-format printing company headquartered in Milwaukee with print production facilities in Las Vegas, Orlando, Denver, and a graphic design agency in Grand Rapids. The company specializes in large-format graphics in the tradeshow, event, sports, and entertainment industries. The most unique part of Olympus is its division that manufactures mascot costumes for professional and collegiate athletic teams and brand icons.
WFI: What made you decide to attend this year's Expo?
Adam: The Expo is THE premiere printing event in our industry. I haven’t missed it in years. We enjoy seeing the new technology and connecting with industry friends.
WFI: What products, brands, or services are you most looking forward to seeing?
Adam: Automation continues to be the focus and buzzword in our space. I’m excited to learn about the latest developments that can help make my teammates more efficient at what they do.
WFI: How do you plan and make the most of your time at the Expo?
Adam: Not sleep? I’m trying to pack my days with ample time on the floor in formal and informal meetings and then connecting with industry leaders before and after the show.
WFI: How do you hope attending will impact your business/career moving forward?
Adam: I love learning from others and building relationships. I’m hoping to continue forging these friendships, allowing Olympus, myself, and our industry to grow together.
