Electronics For Imaging, Inc. announced that it will be prioritizing technology investments to accelerate growth in its fast-growing industrial EFI Inkjet business. As part of this focused strategy, EFI has completed a sale of its eProductivity Software packaging and print productivity software business to an affiliate of Symphony Technology Group.

In light of numerous market changes affecting costs for materials, components, chemicals, global freight, and logistics, EFI will be implementing price increases for its inkjet inks, parts and supplies.

In response to significantly increased volumes of direct-to-board UV LED inkjet digital production on the EFI Nozomi C18000 corrugated printing platform, Electronics For Imaging significantly enhanced its Nozomi Digital Solutions Program of professional services for the Americas.

Scott Schinlever has re-joined EFI in a new role as chief operating officer for EFI’s global inkjet business. He has been charged with further expanding EFI’s industrial inkjet portfolio.
