Transfer Express Wins 2018 SGIA Safety Recognition Program Award

MENTOR, Ohio — February 26, 2019 — Transfer Express has been presented with a 2018 Safety Recognition Program award from the Specialty Graphic Imaging Association (SGIA) for its yearlong efforts toward providing a safe workplace. In addition to surpassing the program’s minimum requirements in a range of specified areas, Transfer Express earned particular notice for its monthly safety committee meetings. As one of 18 winners out of 60 participating member companies, Transfer Express received a plaque and recognition on the SGIA website.

SGIA’s Safety Recognition Program helps members learn about, implement and track safety and health issues in their facilities. The program also assists companies in identifying their OSHA compliance obligations. It encourages participants’ awareness of safety concerns by awarding points for actions such as creating an emergency plan, holding employee safety training sessions, posting SGIA safety tips and conducting workplace inspections.
