The National Print & Sign Owners Association (NPSOA) is launching a new Wide-format survey series beginning December 1 to help print and sign owners confidently benchmark their pricing against peers across North America.
The redesigned series will replace NPSOA’s traditional annual comprehensive Wide-format Pricing Study. Instead of a single lengthy survey, print and sign owners will be invited to complete three shorter, focused surveys spread over the winter months. This new approach is designed to make participation easier, faster, and less disruptive to busy shop schedules—while still generating powerful benchmarking data for members.
Survey Timeline
- Part 1 opens: December 1, 2025
- Part 2 opens: January 5, 2026
- Part 3 opens: February 2, 2026
- Final deadline for all parts: April 10, 2026
Print and sign owners may complete the surveys as they are released, and anyone who misses a start date will still have until April 10, 2026, to provide their information for any part of the series.
Free Results for Participants
Companies that participate in any part of the Wide Format survey series will receive the results for that specific part free of charge. Those who complete all three parts will gain access to a more comprehensive view of how their wide-format pricing compares with that of similar shops across North America.
“Wide format continues to be one of the most dynamic and competitive segments of our industry,” said NPSOA Chairman Nathaniel Grant. “By breaking our study into shorter, more manageable surveys, we’re making it easier than ever for companies to participate—and in return, they’ll get timely, actionable data to help them price with confidence.”
The Wide Format survey series is open to NPSOA members and non-members. Participation links and instructions will be distributed via email and posted on the NPSOA website as each part launches.
