PRINTING United Expo always proves to be a wonderland of technology – but between the buzz of the show and the million sqft of show floor, it’s easy to get swept up and miss out on some major announcements.
Have no fear, here are seven equipment launches that took place at Expo in case you missed them.
- The Cumberland from Vanguard Digital: From signage and displays to packaging, décor and industrial applications, Cumberland offers advanced automation, easy and quick media handling and reliable performance, increasing production capacity and unlocking new opportunities in today’s fast and demanding market. And like others in the Vanguard portfolio, this model is upgradeable, allowing PSPs to invest in what they need for the moment and leaving them room to grow for the future.

- The Mimaki JFX220-2515: This product is a mid-range large-format flatbed printer. What makes it unique is the newly developed substrate suction and holding mechanism that allows for smooth substrate loading, significantly reducing the time required for print preparation. It maximizes the printer’s true production capacity and provides a production environment capable of handling more jobs within a limited timeframe.
- HP Latex R530 AI: This automation dream is an all-in-one rigid-and-flexible latex printer paired with new PrintOS Production Hub AI capabilities. The AI Automatic Print Mode Selection chooses the optimal trade-off between quality and throughput, reducing operator guesswork, while more powerful onboard hardware speeds rendering and expands storage.
- Roland DGA EU2-1000MF: Developed for businesses producing signage, retail displays, exhibitions, and interior panels, the EU2-1000MF allows its users to move directly from file to finished board, this flatbed printer helps reduce manual handling, minimize rework, and deliver a more controlled, reliable production process.
- The Mimaki TxF330-800: This is Mimaki’s flagship apparel DTF printer. It’s equipped with Mimaki’s 330 Print Engine and supports stable continuous output using 100-meter rolls of DTF film, enabling mass production of custom T-shirts.

- Durst P5 350 CORE: While this was originally debuted at FESPA 2026, The Durst P5 350 CORE made its North American debut at Expo. This machine is a hybrid platform for board and roll production, and combines Durst’s P5 printing technology with an upgradeable architecture and automation-ready capabilities.
- EFI VUTEk FabriVU 340 i8: This machine also made its north American debut at PRINTING United. Ideal for soft signage, the FabriVU 340 i8 is a dye-sublimation printer with inline fixation, and is designed to meet the color-fidelity demands of retail, event, and branded environments with eight-color printing – CMYK Orange, Blue, and a choice of two light inks – that expands the printable gamut well beyond four-color printing for the reproduction of challenging Pantone and brand colors.
- Roland DG VersaObject RC-300 Series: The IO-300 is an industrial direct-to-object printer that prints with durable EUV-H Hard Ink, offering an efficient, effective, and economical alternative to traditional analog product decoration methods. Also designed with industrial printing, short-runs, and premium customization in mind, the RC-300 is ideal for printing detailed graphics directly onto cylindrical and lightly tapered objects.
- Canon imagePROGRAF TM-610M: This release from Canon USA is a 36″ multifunction printer with a built-in large-format scanner for drawings, posters, and light graphics.
- Roland DG’s TrueVis MG2 Series: This series is a next-gen UV printer/cutter range comprised of the 64″ MG2-640 and 30″ MG2-300. These printers are designed to help print businesses increase profitability by combining significantly higher productivity, exceptional print quality, advanced application capabilities, and lower running costs in a single integrated UV print and cut solution.

- Monarch FB1218 from Arcus Printers: Released just a few days shy of this year’s Expo, this flatbed printer with a rotary attachment is a compact, industrial-quality printing system designed to deliver reliable, high-quality UV printing across a wide range of applications and prints directly onto rigid substrates and flexible media. This machine also supports vision scanning for template-free printing and UV DTF production with optional accessories.
- The Mimaki UJF200 Series: These flatbed UV inkjet printers (The UJF200- 6042 and the UJF-3042) are designed for decorating novelty goods and industrial products. The UJF200 Series also supports fluorescent pink and fluorescent yellow inks.
- The TrueVis AG-640 latex printer/cutter from Roland DGA: This is the world's first latex printer/cutter, and it enables print service providers to expand into higher-value applications, minimize running costs, improve color consistency, and simplify production, while also providing the environmental and quick-drying advantages latex ink is known for.
Beyond the excitement of shiny new equipment, these launches point to some clear priorities for wide-format printing: more automation, fewer production steps, and greater application versatility. From faster substrate loading and AI-assisted settings to integrated finishing and expanded color capabilities, manufacturers are addressing the work that goes into each job alongside the print itself. Upgradeable platforms also give PSPs room to grow as their needs change. For shops considering their next investment, the takeaway is simple: Look beyond print speed to how a device can ease bottlenecks, simplify operators’ workloads, and open the door to new business.
