MultiCam Shows Cutting Solutions

MultiCam (Booth 401) is showcasing its Magnus CO2 laser engraving and cutting system, with elaborate promotional giveaways — etched musical
instruments and skulls, cut from ¼-inch acrylic and mounted on an illuminated corrugated base.
With the commercial launch of its Celero digital finishing system, MultiCam (Booth 401) offers graphic service providers a fast, compact cutting solution designed to fit a variety of production environments.
Celero cuts corrugated board, foam core, PVC and similar materials at up to 3,500 inches per minute. The cutting area measures 3 meters by 4 meters, and the unit’s modular design features automatic tool changing. Because Celero can pass through a 60-inch wide door, it will integrate easily into sign shops, packaging converting plants and other operations in need of robust, responsive cutting. The device became commercially available at the 2017 SGIA Expo on October 10.
Also on display at the stand is the Magnus CO2 laser engraving and cutting system, which is being used to image and cut promotional giveaways during the show. These items, depicting elaborately etched musical instruments and skulls, are cut from ¼-inch acrylic and mounted on an illuminated corrugated base, also cut on the Magnus. During the show, MultiCam is offering $0- down financing on both the Magnus and the Celero. The Magnus lists for $166,475 and the Celero for $189,000.
