EFI’s exhibit in booth 8233 features the VUTEk h5 — an award-winning126" hybrid flatbed/roll-to-roll LED inkjet printer — and the North American debut of the EFI Pro 30f dedicated flatbed printer.
EFI is also highlighting the new EFI IQ technology for wide- and superwide-format printers — a comprehensive, cloud-based management solution that tracks and monitors printer utilization, ink usage, and substrates, giving display graphics providers more capabilities to optimize their operations.

EFI VUTEk h5
VUTEk h series
The EFI VUTEk h series is a high-end production platform built from the ground up to deliver higher productivity, print quality, reliability, capability, and profits. The series’ new, high-velocity 7-picoliter UltraDrop Technology grayscale printhead imaging delivers precision dot placement and consistency. The series offers eight colors plus white, and an up to nine-layer print capability.
The new X4 Technology mode on the VUTEk h5 printer is a breakthrough in four-color production printing. With X4, users can achieve high-quality graphics at superior productivity, running up to 109 3.9x7.9' boards per hour in a CMYK x 2 configuration. The VUTEk h5 is available direct from EFI or as field upgrade to the VUTEk h3 printer, which can produce up to 74 boards per hour in X4 mode.
More application possibilities
Responding to market requests, the EFI Pro 30f flatbed printer is making its North American debut at PRINTING United. It has a large 120x79" bed, and is the first EFI printer to give users the ability to print on media up to four inches thick. It provides commercial printers and sign shops with more application possibilities, with four colors plus dual channels of white standard and multi-layer printing. The printer also features EFI UltraDrop Technology with variable grayscale 7-21 picoliter imaging for precision dot placement, and better color gradients and smoothing capability.
