With the support of industry donors, SGIA announced its 2019 scholarship recipients. Out of 67 applicants, the association awarded 20 SGIA Educational Institution Member students with $2,000 each.

For the seventh year, SGIA supported the SkillsUSA National Leadership and Skills Conference (NLSC) by coordinating, judging and providing $96,000 in prizes and stipends. Over 40 secondary and post-secondary students competed in the two competitions, which were among the more than 100 competitions at NLSC.
