At Dscoop Edge Rockies, HP unveiled new AI-driven software and press innovations designed to help commercial Print Service Providers (PSPs) unlock profitable growth through simplified operations, higher productivity and greater control across increasingly complex production environments. For HP, the future of work is anchored in enabling PSPs to generate profitable growth and fulfilment through technology, delivering innovation that empowers nonstop digital printing at scale.
“As digital print scales to meet new demands, our customers are no longer buying presses alone. They’re investing in outcomes: predictable productivity and speed at scale,” said Haim Levit, Senior Vice President and Division President, HP Industrial Print. “At Dscoop Edge Rockies, we’re showing how our commitment to Nonstop Digital Printing delivers those outcomes by connecting press innovation, intelligent workflows, and AI driven reliability across the entire production lifecycle.”
Reinforcing HP’s Commitment to Commercial Print and Labels Production
HP has strengthened its long-standing commitment to the A3 mid-range commercial print market with the launch of the HP Indigo 7K+ Digital Press. Built on the proven 7X00 platform, with more than 2,200 presses installed worldwide and a proven track record, the new press delivers enhanced cost efficiency, versatility and operational simplicity by aligning with HP’s broader vision for nonstop digital printing. “Our nonstop digital printing journey continues at full speed. At dscoop, we’re demonstrating once again that innovation at HP Indigo never stands still. With the introduction of the HP Indigo 7K+ Digital Press, we are strengthening our commitment to the commercial A3 market while accelerating momentum across commercial B2, labels, and flexible packaging. We remain focused on expanding what’s possible for our customers — delivering the quality, productivity, and versatility that enable true nonstop growth,” said Noam Zilbershtain, VP & General Manager, HP Indigo.
The new HP Indigo 7K+ addresses mid-range customers’ needs for higher automation and operational simplicity, along with better economics and flexible print mode options, to support both high margin specialty applications and cost-efficient everyday jobs. The HP Indigo 7K+ incorporates on-press automation and AI tools that streamline manual processes and can enable more efficient, data-driven decision-making. Plus, the new ECO Print Mode provides a cost-efficient four-color option that uses thinner layers of ink, ideal for text-heavy or less image-sensitive jobs. “The HP Indigo 7K+ Digital Press is an excellent fit for our business, delivering the flexibility, speed, and performance today’s market requires. We’ve been testing ECO Print Mode extensively and have found that the color quality meets our standards on most jobs, even for our demanding customers. The color appears natural and visually pleasing. We anticipate using ECO mode for at least 50% of our total HP Indigo 7K+ production volume. This technology aligns perfectly with our commitment to innovation and to providing our customers with exceptional quality, efficiency and versatility.” Richard Smith, Partner & General Manager, Xerographics Digital Printing.
Additionally, HP introduced the HP Indigo 120K Value Pack, available to HP Indigo 100K customers. The value pack was installed in tens of presses across NA and EMEA proving a great value on production parameters such as increased uptime, reliability and consistent delivery through streamlined hardware and software enhancements. “Since installing the HP Indigo 120K Value Pack, we’ve seen increased productivity and a more stable, consistent workflow. After a short learning curve, our operators now prefer the new software. It’s intuitive, easy to navigate, and makes troubleshooting faster and more effective. Overall, the new Value Pack has significantly improved efficiency and operator confidence," said Raul Lopez Jr., L&L Operational Director.
HP also marked the 100th installation of the HP Indigo 200K Digital Press, underscoring strong global momentum in digital labels and flexible packaging. The milestone highlights accelerating demand for agile, short-run and multi-SKU production models that reduce lead times and support sustainable packaging strategies.
HP Indigo Expands Nonstop Digital Printing Vision with Print‑Focused AMRs
As part of the Nonstop Digital Printing vision, HP Indigo today announced the expansion of its portfolio with the addition of the industry’s most comprehensive, print‑focused Automated Mobile Robots (AMRs), through an extended collaboration with MoviĜo Robotics. For the first time, HP will sell and fully support these AMRs directly, enabling true end‑to‑end automation across the entire production floor. The strengthened portfolio includes AMRs designed for B2 pallets of HP Indigo Commercial sheet-fed presses, as well as postal pallets, carts, and racks. It also introduces the new Sharko 5 RT, purpose-built for web presses across HP Indigo Labels and Packaging and HP PageWide roll transport environments.
Adam Carnell, CEO of Bluetree Group said, “MoviĜo has fundamentally transformed how movement works inside our factory. Instead of designing our processes around fixed constraints, we now have a solution that feels limitless and genuinely tailored to the needs of high‑volume, high‑mix print manufacturing. Adopting robotics early has allowed us to scale smarter, improve flow, and stay ahead as a modern, data‑driven print business.”
Ten Years of HP PrintOS, Now Advancing Intelligent Automation with HP Nio
HP is marking 10 years of HP PrintOS, now connecting thousands of devices worldwide and enabling automated, data-driven production management. “The levels of automation, data and insights from HP PrintOS are a major factor in TGI’s continued growth” said Jack Glacken, CEO Today’s Graphics.
Building on this foundation, HP Nio is now commercially available. Developed on HP PrintOS, HP’s AI-powered production intelligence solution introduces a conversational AI experience that transforms real-time production data and technical knowledge into clear, actionable guidance. “For years, our customers have told us that printing itself is no longer the challenge — it’s managing the complexity around it,” said Diana Pascual Soldevilla, General Manager, HP Industrial Print Software and Solutions. “Our focus is on human-centric intelligent automation, where AI augments people rather than replaces them. With HP PrintOS and HP Nio, we’re turning data into clarity, helping teams understand what’s happening across their production environment and giving them the confidence to act faster, with greater control and less effort.”
"With HP Nio, you can ask the business questions you want and get real-time answers immediately and accurately. It’s an absolute game changer. And the learning curve is literally 5 seconds” said Christopher Burnley, CEO, Corefact. By helping teams understand what is happening, why it matters, and what to do next, HP Nio supports faster decision-making, higher productivity, and more confident operations at scale. Available through the Productivity Power Pack and Knowledge Zone, HP Nio extends intelligent automation across digital print workflows.
New Workflow Enhancements to Accelerate Automation
HP continues to expand HP Site Flow with enhancements including Ultimate Impostrip integration, expanded support for orders up to 1,000 line items processed end-to-end, a new operating-times calendar to improve SLA accuracy, a simplified Site Flow Power-up model to shorten onboarding and expanded mobile capabilities.
During Dscoop, HP is also announcing its collaboration with GoMake, a cloud-native, AI-assisted quotation and production management solution for small and mid-sized PSPs and converters. GoMake automatically defines optimal production plans, improves cost accuracy and accelerates customer response times. Integrated via HP’s open APIs, it streamlines job submission and real-time data collection, helping PSPs win more orders and improve margins.
Connecting Brands, Creativity and Workflow in One Unified Platform
