Following close consultation with exhibitors and partners, drupa 2021 will be cancelled due to the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic. Organizers will instead offer virtual.drupa, a four-day digital event from April 20 – 23, 2021.

Due to the ongoing spread of coronavirus (COVID 19), the drupa trade fair originally scheduled for June 16 – 26, 2020 has been postponed to April 20 – 30, 2021. This follows a general ruling issued by the city of Düsseldorf on March 11, in which events with more than 1,000 participants are generally prohibited.

From June 16–26, 2020, more than 250,000 visitors, 1,800 exhibitors and just as many journalists from over 180 countries will participate in drupa. For the first time, the VDMA Additive Manufacturing Association will be responsible for the content and implementation of the ten-day lecture program.
