On April 12, Len Lauer, CEO of Memjet, passed away unexpectedly at his home in La Jolla, California. He was 62 years old. Lauer was named the CEO of Memjet in 2010 and assumed the role of Chairman in 2012.

John Ortiz has joined Memjet as vice president of inks and materials. In this role, he will guide the strategy, development, and manufacturing of inks used in the company’s VersaPass, DuraLink, and DuraFlex technologies.
Memjet hired Bent Serritslev as senior vice president of business development in the Asia–Pacific region (APAC). In this role, he will oversee sales and marketing activities designed to expand the adoption of Memjet technology among (OEM) partners in the region.
Memjet announced Sunil Gupta has joined the company’s board of directors. For the past four decades, he has held leadership positions in large enterprises, including Fuji Xerox Australia, Fuji Xerox Asia Pacific, and Xerox International Partners.
Gelvin will oversee the training and support of Memjet OEM partners and ensure they have the resources needed to effectively build Memjet-powered printers.
