Ricoh Europe has agreed on a landmark €50million printhead technology deal to extend its successful collaboration with Durst Group AG. As part of this new deal, in the future, Ricoh printheads will also be further developed for upcoming Durst printing systems for their various fields of application.

Launched in a virtual event, the P5 350 HS is the newest family member from the P5 technology platform with Durst Automat, the fully automated inline solution that makes production processes far more versatile and efficient for customers.

Durst is now producing community masks in its demo center at the Brixen headquarters in South Tyrol, Italy. The masks are produced in the first step for employees, and afterwards the will be available for other companies. The know-how for the production of the masks will be made available to interested PSPs worldwide.

In an open letter, the CEO of Durst announced the company's next steps in terms of handling the current worldwide coronavirus pandemic.
