At the recent PRINTING United show in Dallas, Texas, the Color-Logic booth was busy from the show opening to show close every day.

At PRINTING United, Jim Raffel gave a presentation that was equal parts printing optimization, biology lesson, and art class.

Color-Logic has certified the new Ricoh Pro L5160 large format printer for use with the Color-Logic Process Metallic Color System.

Reproline, founded in 1991, was an early adopter of digital applications. By 1998, it had invested in its first digital printing machine, and two years later established a digital photo studio. In 2003, Reproline Mediateam was formed, with Erich and Andreas Achter as managing directors.

As color quality and substrate versatility have improved, print providers have worked hard to study the interplay between colors and nontraditional substrates to help ensure consistency across campaigns and applications. However, just as important as those factors is one that is often overlooked: lighting.

The new ColorGuard solution from EFI is launching at PRINTING United. This cloud-based color verification solution gives print service providers the ability to produce consistent, accurate color all day, every day.

Idealliance announced Fujifilm’s (Booth 8220) J Press 750S has obtained the Digital Press Inkjet System Certification, ISO/PAS 15339 System Certification, and earned Master Elite status, meaning the J Press 750S is capable of achieving all seven of the globally recognized ISO/PAS 15339 Reference Print Conditions. 

As part of their continual improvement process, PRINT NW implemented Agfa’s PressTune five months ago.

The 1,800 profiles were created for all Drytac products compatible with Mimaki wide-format printers up to 1.6m.
