The Dos and Don’ts of Adhesives for Retail Graphics
“Adhesives for Retail Graphics,” held Wednesday, October 23rd at 11:00 am in Room C140, will educate show attendees on the diverse types of adhesives, and which are best suited for specific applications. Using the proper media for the specified job can make a big impact as well as save time and money. Drytac (Booth 6224) specialists Shaun Holdom and Dennis Leblanc will explain the dos and don’ts of this critical application.
“The right adhesive has a crucial role in the retail market,” explains Holdom, Drytac Global Product Manager. “The biggest part of choosing the right graphic solution is understanding the application needs and the total cost involved. Often, the installation cost is overlooked in the retail roll outs of visual graphics in the retail stores. Retailers want easy-to-install, predictable graphics without the cost of installation.”
Adds Leblanc, Drytac Territory Sales Manager, “Retail is changing and we must educate ourselves on different options of adhesive graphics in order to save time, money, and hassle. In this session, you’ll learn the differences between high tack, permanent, removable, microsphere, air release, dot, and ultra-low tack adhesives and how to ask the right questions in order to choose the right adhesive that fits your clients’ needs. The right adhesive can be the difference between winning and losing your next print job.”
“There are several factors to consider when choosing the proper media for these projects, and during the “Adhesives for Retail Graphics” session Dennis and I will give attendees a great basis for getting it right,” says Holdom. “We’re hoping to see lots of industry professionals stopping by at the presentation, which will be sure to get them thinking about retail graphics in a new light.”
