Lindenmeyr Munroe Hosts Fourth Annual Wide-format Expo
Last week Lindenmeyr Munroe – a PRINTING United Alliance Member – hosted its fourth annual Wide-format Expo at its 15,000 sq. ft. wide-format experience center in Trenton, New Jersey.
With over 40 exhibitors and attendee registration reaching over 500 people, the young expo has made a name for itself since its debut in 2022. The room was abuzz with excited attendees eager to look at equipment and materials on display from names like Epson, HP, Roland DGA, and Greentex.
Some of the equipment that attendees and organizers alike seemed most excited about this year was the HP Latex R530, the Trotec Speedy 400 laser, the Epson SureColor V7000, and the Roland BY-20 Direct-to-Film Printer. Overall, it seemed like compactness, user-friendliness, and fair price points were major themes of the equipment on display.

“I think the HP latex R530 fits a lot of customer’s needs. It's like kind of like the Swiss Army knife of printers, and it's a smaller footprint. It's also at a really good price point, and I think it's something in the flatbed hybrid space that nobody's really seeing that quality at that size and price point,” said Justin VanHyning, textile and sublimation product manager.
Keith Fischer, general manager of wide-format for Lindenmeyr Munroe says he’s most proud of the fact that year after year, everyone seems to make their way back to the event.
“Everybody keeps coming back,” Fischer said “The event just keeps getting bigger, attendance is up, and it’s become a known show. When we started this, there was no real great Northeast mid-Atlantic show, so yeah, I’m really proud of how far this event has come.”

CWT had its flatbed applicator worktable on display at the event.
And while vendors continue to come back, Fisher shared there were also some new faces exhibiting this year like Trotec Laser and CWT Worktools.
Thriving Despite Economic Uncertainty
One major trend that seemed prevalent at the event was the fact that despite looming tariffs and trade wars, the printing industry remains strong and optimistic.
In fact, Fischer shared that Lindenmeyr’s sales are actually up for the year and are remaining strong.
“We have our challenges with the tariffs and stuff right now, and there's a lot of uncertainty going on. equipment is up a little bit, and most of the equipment manufacturers are up 5 to 10% on cost because of tariffs, but that doesn't seem to be a deterrent for people right now. There's still a lot of print jobs in the pipeline,” Fischer said.
Vanhyning agreed and said he’s noticed that printers have had an uptick in business and thinks the reason for this is despite all of the economic uncertainty, the show must go on.
“I think everybody just got a little bit hesitant about spending money to start off the year. And I think people people are realizing that they aren’t alone. It’s a little uncomfortable for everybody, but business must go on. I think people are starting to understand that it's not just one, customer, or mill. Everybody's dealing with the same kind of level of uncertainty and we're just kind of moving forward,” VanHyning said.
If you didn’t get a chance to visit the Lindenmeyr event, don’t fret, you can meet them in the fall at PRINTING United Expo taking place Oct. 22-24 in Orlando Florida.
